Profile
Dr. Prodosh Simlai is a Korus Economics & Finance Endowed Professor at the Fransen Department of Real Estate, Economics and Finance, Nistler College of Business and Public Administration, University of North Dakota. Dr. Simlai received his M.S. in Finance and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
His research interests include financial markets, investments and portfolio management, real estate, and applied econometrics. Dr. Simlai’s work has appeared in both leading general interest and field journals including the Accounting Research Journal, Business Economics, Finance Research Letters, International Review of Financial Analysis, International Review of Economics and Finance, Journal of Asset Management, Journal of Derivatives and Hedge Funds, Journal of Property Research, Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, Managerial Finance, Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, Studies in Economics and Finance, and Research in Finance, among others! Dr. Simlai is a member of the North Dakota State Investment Committee and a member of the North Dakota State Investment Board.
