Profile
Peter Jahner grew up Linton, ND, and earned his bachelors in Banking and Finance from the University of North Dakota. Jahner began his career at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) as a bank examiner. Later he started at Kirkwood Bank and Trust as a loan compliance officer doing all kinds of work, including shoveling snow! Jahner was mentored within the organization and moved up the ranks before landing in the commercial banking business side and assisted business owners for 15 years.
Jahner earned the title of Kirkwood Bank and Trust President in 2013. Jahner is known for his extraordinary leadership, great decision-making, and sound morals. Pete is always willing to listen to new ideas or lend a hand when needed.
